Our staff at Top Hat Childcare has a comprehensive background and are well versed in Early Childhood Education. All lead teachers and directors are credentialed by the Maryland State Department of Education.
Hiru John
With 15 years of experience in Montessori education, Hiru joined Top Hat in 2021. Her teaching career began in Italy in 2008, where she built a strong foundation in early childhood education. Hiru holds a B.A. in Economics and is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Administration. Passionate about nurturing young minds, she strives to create a supportive learning environment. Hiru is also a mother, with a son who was a student at Top Hat.

Keshia Fletcher
Ms. Keshia has been at Top Hat Childcare since November 2024 and has been in childcare for 25 plus years. She has B.A in Early Childhood Education and is certified in Special needs and children with disabilities.
Ms. Keshia is a military spouse with 3 kids and has spent 4 years overseas teaching and studying ASL.
